The cubs had a night out for a chance to go climbing.
After a short lesson in how to fit the climbing harness and then how to clip on to the belay rope, they were let loose on the walls.
Each climber has a buddy who stays on the ground and takes up the slack on the belay rope to make sure the climber does not come to grief if they lose their footing.
The climbing centre has a variety of walls so that beginers and those who need a bit more of a challenge.
A few of the cubs had a go at some of the full size walls where the really good climbers come to practice.
