The cubs headed off to Grays Point to make use of the excellent facilities available at our local neighbouring group.

With a scout hall located right on the water front and several parents on hand to get the equipment ready, it was not long before the canoes were out and the cubs were equipped with their buoyancy aids.

Not all of the cubs had been canoeing before so there was a short session for Chewie to give them all the instructions required.

Then it was into the boats….
… and off to the quiet waters surrounded by the scenery of the National Park.
Thanks to Grays Point group for helping us to have a great evening.
Thanks for the great post – and what a perfect night for canoeing
