Old Towels for the Animal Shelter project
The Cub Scouts that they can earn a SIA “Creating a Better World” badge, one of the six needed for the Gray Wolf award, if they join in the “Old Towels for the Animal Shelter” project. The steps are:
- Make a poster, on the computer or paper.
- Advertise it at school (at the class room, at the newsletter, at the weekly gathering)
- Collect some towels from their friends,
- We will deliver the towels with them to the Animal Shelter in Tarren Point.
- Make a small report.
I have attached a sample for the poster and suggestions / instructions, your kids have gotten a copy of it last Tuesday when we discussed it with them.
It would be great if you could talk to them about it and put the copy with the instructions on a fridge or on their door so they will be reminded about it.
